Why teach at York House School?

York House School is a vibrant and close-knit school community where everyone benefits from a true sense of belonging. It is a place where people feel valued, engaged, and connected to the school, and experience personal fulfillment and meaning in their lives. Our students are the heart of our school and they are our greatest pride.

Our Unique Programs

This aim drives the design of many innovative programs at the school: Incubator for Social Innovation, Project-Based Learning, Capstone, International Exchange, Community-based Learning, Outdoor Education, Career and Life Connections, and STEAM. Our Little School embraces the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.

As a school, we invite the creative input of faculty into the development of such programming. We provide robust professional development to support the ongoing design of strong foundational and transformative learning experiences.
