What Makes Us Unique
Vancouver Christian School is a diverse, multi-denominational K–12 independent school in Vancouver, B.C.
Serving about 950 students, VCS has provided Christ-centred education for more than 75 years. The school is committed to supporting students’ academic, social, spiritual and emotional development, preparing them for lives of service and transformation.
Our graduates are compassionate, service-oriented and committed to sharing Christ’s love with others. They are thoughtful, globally aware critical thinkers and lifelong learners, who pursue justice, renewal and hope, and serve their communities with purpose and humility.
Our School Community
VCS is a Christ-centred community committed to supporting students as they grow in faith and experience grace, belonging and purpose. The school brings together students, families, staff and supporters who share responsibility for nurturing learning and advancing our mission.
As a K–12 school with elementary and high school programs housed in one building, students and staff have opportunities to deepen relationships with others throughout the school community. We believe that God works through these relationships to make our community a special place.
West Coast Living
Our school is located on the eastern edge of Vancouver, offering convenient access to surrounding communities, natural landscapes and a wide range of recreational and cultural amenities.
The location places staff and families close to outdoor destinations such as the North Shore Mountains, known for hiking and biking trails, as well as the city’s extensive waterfront and beaches.
From outdoor sports and beach activities to urban cultural experiences, the Vancouver area offers diverse opportunities that support an active and balanced lifestyle.
